I need a PSP game...?

I am going on vacation and theres alot of driving and I want to buy a PSP/PS1 classic game of the PS Store. I was thinking FFVII or MGS. I want the most bang for my buck that will be fun and have at the very least a good 20 hours. ( By the way, I have NEVER gotten into the FF series and if would waste my money with seven. I have always been put off by the turn based action and I have always been a fan of MGS but I was thinking of trying something new)
 
FF VII is an RPG (Role Playing Game). If you don't like RPGs, you will not like FF VII. While it has some third person shooting and other elements in the game, overall, the game is RPG, and plays like an RPG.

MGS is a good game, and you can't go wrong with it.

FF VII or MGS are both long games (FF VII is longer), but if you don't like RPG's, than don't get FF VII because that would be a waste of money for you. If you want to try something new, than FF VII would be the way to go.
