I need a new phone from Verizon. Why am I having so much trouble?

Heres the thing, I've had the VX8300 for many years. I upgraded a year ago to the VX8350 and hated it, switched back to my old faithful. I went to the Verizon store today and tried out the VX8360, the Samsung Alias, the Convoy, and the Barrage. The thing I hate about all of them is that they simply are not as fast as the VX8300. I can just text, and browse the menus so much quicker!!!! Any ideas what I should do??!?!?!

Also, I can't justify spending extra money on a stupid data plan, so I'm sticking with the standard flip phone (I can text faster on t9 than a keyboard layout)
