ok, this is hard because i dont really know how to describe it,

on sunday night i was laying in bed eating a crunchie bar, i was watching tv which is to the left side of my room which means i was eating with my head turned to the left, and i got to the final piece and when i swollowed it, it felt like it was having problems going down, so i drank some soda pop to assist it but it didnt seem to work,

anyways i woke up monday and i kept feeling like something was lodged, like struggling to go down, when i swollow it hurts from the bottom of my throat into the mid chest area, almost like i can feel my food going down but it hurts, its now wednesday and i tried eating a burger but i had one bite and it hurt so i didnt bovver, i am gunna try soup later, anyway i noticed i get like a load of air travel upto my throat like a need to burp, but it doesnt come out even when i try to push it out, it just slides back down into my chest, and feels asif i am swollowing a load of air, but i'm not, it just wont come out,

it doesnt hurt to breath, i can breathe freely, i even jogged half way home from work, thats not a problem,

so simply but my problem is

' i feel like a need to burp but when it reaches my throat it wont come out it just slides back down asif i'm swollowing a ball of air or something that is too big to go down normally so is slowly going down,

it doesnt bovver me so much when standing up (apart from swollowing that hurts whateva position) but standing up i can swollow phlem and it doesnt affect me much, i feel it but its nuffin to cry over, but when lying down swollowing phlem is like swollowing air,

its a real pain, it only hurts when i am eating something like a burger, something big, i will try soup later to see what thats like, but its really wierd and i am kinda not wanting to go to the docs so am hoping it can clear up on its own,

i am 21, does anybody no what could be wrong,

i know that isnt the best explenation but its new to me, so hard to describe really, sorry and thanks for any help,

soooo hope it goes on its own, i just noticed ive let out a couple of mini burpes so far today, i took a rennie, feels like trapped air sumtimes, like swollowing phlem feels like swollowing air, its strange as heck

This could be due to your diet. Candy and soda pop are two highly acid-causing fooRAB. Check out this post for a list of alkaline (anti-acid) fooRAB that you can eat that may fix your problems:

I've had good success with watermelon, fresh raw green kale, cantaloupe, sweet potatoes, yams, onions, and calcium supplements.

yeah i deffo need a change of diet, i eat way too much junk food, soda pop and chocolate every night and in the day, burger and chips for dinner, curry for tea, its amazing i'm so slim, and also answers why i have a history of trap wind, constipation and so on, its time i make a change,

can i still have a curry or lasagne or spaghetti bolognaise now and again?

i dont no much about diets, but i'm currently learning martial arts so this list will help me alot cuz you need to keep healthy and have very good conditioning, thanks.

oh and is tinned spaghetti hoops okay to eat? at the moment i cant swollow anything big, cuz its hurts going down, so i need to find stuff that i can have for my meals that will slide down just nicely? any suggestions?

For carbs, I usually eat sweet potatoes or yams. If you want something really sweet, try molasses. I usually just pour some onto a plate and then dab away at it. I didn't like it the first couple of times I tried it, but now I eat molasses as opposed to something acidic like soda pop or chocolate. Watermelon is great if you want something that slides down easily.

You can eat acidic fooRAB like spaghetti or lasagne, but you should balance it out with alkaline fooRAB. Supposedly 4 servings of alkaline food to one serving of acid food is a good rule of thurab.

thanks acidaway, your advise has been noted, and i've got my shoppin list wrote up, from here i am changing my diet and i am looking forward to trying new fooRAB :)

oh by the way, i found out thursday that my problem was a scratched esophagus (spelling), the crunchie went down kinda wrong and caused a bit of damage to my esophagus in my throat, but thankfully it has pretty much healed now, i'm back to eating ok, swollowing fine, so no doctors visit for me thank god lol, but i'm taking it as my bodys way of saying 'eat more healthy' so thats what am gunna do now,

thanks alot pal.
