I need a job, would washing cars help me?

I am unemployed and I have been looking for a job everywhere and I havent had any luck at all and I need money to keep up with my bills. I was wondering if it was a good idea to go house by house and try to see if I could wash cars and clean them in exchange for money. I have a buffer to apply wax on cars and I can do a very nice job of making cars look shinny and new from the inside to the outside. I want to know if this is a good idea, and if it is, how much should I charge?

I wouldn't go door to door. Waste of time. Instead list your service on Craigslist. I would ask about $25-50. Depends on how good of a job you do.

Considering it's close to winter and people are weary of services by strangers, I would go to an employment office and set something up there. Or search on your local Craigslist for jobs. Good luck.
