I have a ceramic egg coddler that has a metal screw top lid which has become detached from the ceramic base. When in use the coddler is placed in boiling water for 15 min or so and then the metal lid is screwed off the top off the ceramic base. Apparently Gorilla Glue which is sold in USA works, but I don't think it is avail in Australia - any suggestions?
Please note I have been to the hardware shop and the problem was finding a glue that would hold at boiling point (100 degrees) and in water. Araldite epoxy, for instance, won't work at that temperature.
