I need a calculator that will do linear algebra as well as graphing?

My wife is taking an advanced algebra class (well beyond my education level). She needs a easy to use calculator that will do linear algebra and graphing. I was looking at the TI-89 but it looks complicated. Any suggestions?
 
The TI-89 is pretty fancy! But, it's definitely worth the cost if you know how to download/use the apps for it. The TI-83 isn't as flashy but still should be able to do what you need it to for algebra!:-D
 
Go back a few years. My daughter bought the TI 83 Plus when she was in high school and is still using it as a Junior in college. Most of her friends who upgraded say the upgrade is more confusing and often go back to the TI 83 Plus. Both of my kids have one, I bought one for my son in August 2008, so they are still on the market. My daughter is an accounting major and has used it in all her advanced math classes up through Calculus!
