I need a better phone.

Hi all,
Nobody knows me since I'm just a lurker but I've been visiting this site for awhile trying to learn what I can about phones available. I'm basically at a loss though. I thought I would have more time but my current phone, a Samsung E317 is acting. I've come looking for assistance. Hopefully I can use your insight. Heres what I am looking for.

Provider: Cingular
Wifi use for Inet
atleast a 2MP camera
Reception
MP3 playback
Slot for miniSD

I live in the northwest corner of Connecticut, USA. We have some hills they call mountains and reception isn't very great. I only get one bar currently on my phone in my office. Everywhere else I go in the area though Cingular gives me great service. So that may be interference from the computers and other electronics. Not sure how that plays together.

It would be really awesome if this phone worked well inside my office. Otherwise I have to make a dash to get out of the building. Being able to check email would be a plus, and I've always been a sucker for a screen that shows the time or whos calling without having to open the phone. With the clam design. I sorta keep my phone in my pocket so it gets marked and I've had keys pressed so clam was preferred or one where keys are able to be pressed. a lock button for example. I'd buy a phone case for this phone considering all the other uses it would have and it would probably cost more than my old phone. Anyways....

I'm not sure if this is enough info. But hope it sheds light. Please let me know if I am leaving out something important. I know I may not get all the features with these phones. But I liked the E70 for some reason. I look forward to any help or advice you guys can give. Thanks in advance.

Very few meet all of your requirements - especially WiFi. Look at the Cingular 8525.

Not sure the reason for wanting WiFi, but keep in mind that ti will not be as fast as your PC. Speed is limited by the connection, the phone's processor and memory. Plus, you will still need a a data plan for Internet and email for when you are away from the WiFi connection.

Not much that you can nd if you are in a poor coverage area. I travel through CT on occasion and find my Cingular coverage goes in and (actually I find that in many places). I also carry a Verizon cell phone and generally when Cingular isn't there, Verizon is.

Hmm. Was afraid of that. I haven't seen the feature on many phones and liked the convenience of it. If I didn't plan on getting one with Wifi, or instead replaced the wifi feature with bluetooth for a desired feature. Would that perhaps increase the selection?

Narrowing it down in features may be best. I'd prefer not getting a phone with windows on it.
