I need a AVI to play video (not just audio) using Windows Media?

We are using Windows Media Player 11 in our new computers.

We are unable to play avi video using this Windows Media Player.

We noticed the avi file property is set to audio by the Windows Media
Player.

How can we set the Windows Media Player to recognize the avi files are both video and audio and play the video and audio together?
