I need a 60 GB ps3!!!!!?

i know they stopped selling them, but i am a retro gamer and i wanted a ps3 that was fully bkwrds comp. with all ps2 and ps1 games. Where can i get one??????? can i trust Ebay, Amazon, or gamestop??? Is it safe to buy used?? i just want a console that is working very well and has little or no sdamages on the outside. Please i need advise pronto!
 
same dog, sony shouldn't have stopped making 60gb, thats 1 reson i am gettin an xbox
 
check craigslist and be patient. Better to be able to see it firsthand before buying, than trust someone to ship it. Best to avoid auctions too. Ebay is the last place you should go to buy a popular item.

Ultimately, though, if I were you I'd reconsider - and I have a 60gb ps3. Not that I don't like it, I do, it's great. But you could get a 80gb, or a 40gb plus a ps2, for the same price that a 60 would cost you. I'd get the 40 and a ps2 myself. The 40 has 65nm circuitry, more efficient than the 60, and using an actual ps2 would save wear and tear on your ps3's dvd laser. Plus you'd get warranty coverage, which you won't with a used 60.

Best reason to get a 60 would be if they eventually go up in value, but there's no way to predict that.
