i am a fifteen year old and i love to sing opera. i am trying out for a music camp called interlochen, which is the most prestigious(and most challenging) camp in the country. they are very selective and only choose the best. I was a little wary of auditioning for it, but after numerous proffesionals in opera music told me that i would more than likely make the camp, i am gonig for it! however, whether i get in or not is not the problem, its the price of the camp. it costs 5,000, yes 5 thousand dollars for a month at interlochen and my parents just don't have that type of money. we are trying to find ways to get money now by looking for grants, scholarships, extra jobs, fundraisers, anything that will help us earn the money for me to go. even though i dont know whether im going to be accepted, my family is trying to plan as if i am because by the time we get the letter stating if i made it in, it will be too late to try to raise that kind of money. does anybody have any organization, grant, etc. for me to look into to see if i can raise this money?
I need 5,000 to go a music camp!!!!! help!!!?
