I moved into my father in laws home in sept 2007. In july 2008 i moved out because there were far too many complications with the man. I never signed a lease...we only had a spoken agreement that i would pay $300/month for "rent". I was never late on it. Now he is talking about sueing me for $3000. Can he? He is saying that i broke lease early and thats the reason but i never signed a lease.
