My questions is why would you want to buy a Hummer in the first place? The many people that I have talked to (including professional transport drivers) say that the hummer series are rough to drive, shake and shimmy allot, and just feels cheaply built. And that was before they got to the bad gas mileage part.

Tell me, do you really need a Hummer to do actual off road/hauling/working work or do you just want the ego trip? Buy whatever you want dude, but once you do, don't come back bitching about the gas costs (the cost of gas would probably be going up during the summer months) and the fact that tires for the thing start at $250.00 a piece. And if you actually want them on your vehicle, it will cost more.

If you can afford a Hummer in this economy, more power to ya. But Always remember, it is not just buying the Hummer, it is maintaining it also.

neither one, have you looked at all their recalls and reliability issues? If you get one, get a good warranty! good Luck

First of all the Hummer is not a car, it is a GMC pick up with a funky body on it.
If you want a luxurious 4X4 go with a Porsche Cayenne, Land Rover, or maybe the Lincoln MKX.
I don't know of any 2X2 cars, not even a Harley is a 2X2, it is a 2X1 or is it a 1X2, I can't figure that one out.
