...together? Any tips besides enrolling in a full program? I am a stay at home Mom atm so it's an option later but are there any books to start out simple? I can draw decently but it's hard since I can picture every detail but don't know how to put it together or wear to get the fabrics and detail pieces or even know which fabric it is I envision LOL
You can go to your local library and check out fashion drawing books.
I went to a fashion school and they had a shop where we had to buy our books, so you could go get some there too if there are any in your area.
try to find a book that shows you the proportions of an elongated figure (8 heads & up), different poses, basic clothes structures, adding movement to clothes with poses and fabric rendering.
You can also go to fabric stores and buy patterns that are already made. They will tell you the amount of fabric needed, what kind of fabric they suggest for that piece, etc
