I lost my iPhone 3GS. Did I also lose the apps I downloaded onto the phone?

I lost my iPhone 3GS after having it for almost 2 years. During that time I downloaded many apps using my credit in my Itunes account. I never moved my apps from my phone to the computer. Is there any way to download those apps again onto my new phone and SIM card?

Nope you did not lose the apps. Just download the apps again and you should get a message that lets you download them for free again.
