I'm 28 years old and I went back to college a year ago. I quit my full-time job to do this and my parents have been supporting me as long as I get good grades. In March my boyfriend and I broke up, and I was devastated. My grades really suffered in some classes, but I lied to my parents and told them I was still doing well. I even got a 1.00 in one class. I thought i could just get by and be OK, but this summer I also got bad grades, and now my financial aid has been canceled. I don't know what to do. I love my parents so much, but I lied to them and I know this will hurt them and anger them so much. Everyone thinks I'm so smart and great, but I'm just a failure. What can I do? Is there any way to get financial aid back once you've lost it?
