Okay, my fiance is working and providing for my family, but we need help to make ends meet. We were on foodstamps, but we freaked out when they started to ask so many questions about him being my daughters father. I am not married to him, but we do live in the same house and he provides all the financial support to the child. During my divorce it was established that he was the father via paternity test. Me and my husband had been estranged for over 5 years and well my daughter happened before the divorce. My question is, can they get him for child support even though he is living in the same house and providing all the income?
Okay for all you people who tell me to get a job, I am disabled and waiting for things to get approved. Not to mention, you try paying car insurance, rent, gas, and not having a babysitter for miles where you live. Me working is not an option, and we have to pay for insurance through his work. Dont' assume that I am some welfare bum, like many others. If I were I would have never asked and just cheated the system.
