I like this guy and he told me he likes me too but he hasn't texted me a whole day yesterday?

so i like this guy since december but i never dared to tell him. but a few weeks ago we started texting each other and he told me he likes me too. But he hasn't texted me a whole day and its difficult for me to text him because my texts never get delivered.
should i wait for him to text me or do something about it?
