I like this boy he is like 4 yrs old than me is that weird?

Ok there is this boy we will call him bob. well bob and i have been dating for a year now. He is 17 and I am only 13. At first it was no big deal but then my older friends that are in his class kept on telling me that he is flirting with other girls. It kills me to no that I am not there around him to see this or even to stop it! My friends say I should dump his ass! but I am truely in love with him and he says he is too! I guess my questions are:
Should I dump him?
Should I be able to trust him?
What if I don't trust him?
Why would he lie?

I am open to any advice you have u can IM me or just answer my question on here THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH
 
the older freinds that are in his class are probably jealous and saw girls flirting with him and twisted the story around give him a chance to explain himself and then just follow your heart!
