I like Dance but I'm not a Dancer?

I love dance shows like ABDC (america's best dance crew) and Superstars of Dance (check it every monday on NBC) and dancing when I'm with my friends and on stage in shows. I'm NOT a dancer, but I would like to be! I act and sing and write and dancing is something else I would like to tackle, tell me how! Tips on impressive moves that show and build strenght are wanted! Good Workouts and stretches are also wanted!
 
I don't know how old you are, but if you are in high school or older, then most dance studios offer community classes in ballet. if you don't like ballet then you could always take a class, but it probably would not be with people your age. but then again ballet is great to take just for balance with any type of dance!!

dancing is so much funn :-) try it and if u love it then keep going with it.if its not for u,o well :-) there's always at least one thing that every person is good at :-) lol ♥hope i helped♥
 
ummmmmm................if you want to be GOOD at dancing, start taking classes at a local studio. if you insist on teaching yourself, then your technique is not going to be good.
 
to start find a local studio and sign up there. you'll be put w/ beginners but work hard and you'll move up quickly. strtches= butterflies,splits,strattle and touch you toes.put your legs straight then touch your toes. For building stregnth= sit on wall w/ arms out,ankles rises, crunches and anything that helps your ankles,core and legs bestrong. workouts= depends on the kind of dance you want to do.
