I Lag when I use a wired USB headset for my PS3. I go from 3 or 4 bars down to

1 bar when i UN-MUTE it. HELP? I bought a Logitech Headset to use with my PS3. It has a USB connection point and it it wired. I also have a Wireless bluetooth Headset but am choosing not to use it because in other topics like this, i have read that wireless ones cause more lag an bad connection so i am sticking with a wired USB Logitech Headset. When ever i UNMUTE it, i go from 3 or 4 bars of connection to 1 red bar. Is there any way i can do something to make it perfectly normal when i use it I have a cousin who uses a wired USB headset and he doesnt get effected one bit. Is it Maybe my internet that i need to upgrade or is there any thing at all i can do to make it not lag
