I know you don't care, but I'm saying it anyway.

I'm sick of the threads about Obama.

I don't agree with his policies, I think he's a shitty president, and I can't weait for next the next election.

But for christ's sake, can we stop with the "vacation" type threads?

Fuuuuuuucccccckkkkkkk..... remember when the libs were weeping over Iraq and we were sick of thye Halliburton/Cheney/Blackwater/Abu Ghraib bullshit?

Yeah..... some of you are in that same territory now.

Who gives a fuck where he celebrates Memorial Day?

Give it a fucking rest you losers.

How about: The audacity of Obama. Not for debate; for a sticky list of audacities.

1) Obama calls for a moratorium on offshore drilling after the BP tragedy.
(and yet continues to grant offshore drilling permits (17); woops so he sends his secretary to clear that up: "we meant deep water drilling; there has been none of that since the explosion" woops forgot about the new deep water drilling begun after the explosion)

Lol, just a thought.

Actually, as someone explained on NPR, they were modifications of permits but because of the way modifications are submitted they show up as separate permits

I know the original post wasn't clear, but I think he was calling for a moratorium on the "vacation" angle, not Obama in general.

Actually, the audacity of Obama was that he didn't put any of it in writing; he publicly stated the moratorium then purposely made it as sketchy as possible.

Actually, threads about Obama are fine by me. He is, after all the PotUS. It's not like he is some schmuck named "Paul" (either father or son), who doesn't really hold shit for a political office. One is a Congressmen (one of several hundred) and the other is just a fucking doctor who got a nomination to run for office later this year.

I would agree, except Obama was a little bitch during the elections. He brought up the vacations as did the rest of the democrat crybabies, so now it's fair game. IMO the republicans are their own worst enemy right now because they are not playing dirty enough. The dems have a majority but the republicans need to forget that for a second and start taking charge. we should be seeing attack adds on the air 24/7

Yeah, 1 thread about him would have sufficed. I mean, come on.

So, as you may have gathered, that is why I threw my hat into the ring with my own retard thread. Complete with a video arguing for X by editing a video that explains why the argument X is retarded.

If the last election cycle taught us anything it's that playing dirty wasn't a tone people liked.

last presidential run was pretty tame. the republicans have been downright cuthroat since that time and have won quite a few special elections

If this is "downright cut throat"....they're lost in November. It was tame...because tame sells. Slinging the mud lost it's appeal for people needing jobs.

If it taught us a lesson it's that when people are down they don't care about empty accusations about how terrible the other guy is. Kudos to Obama for realizing that early on.

Tiptoeing around Obama because he's black lost its appeal a long time ago too. Plus now he has a record, and the Republicans will try to hang that record around the neck of every Democrat running in swing districts.

Are you so sure? The republicans have quite a few upset victories under their belts already, polling (as a party) in a dead heat with the democrats, and the democrats are starting to distance themselves from Obama.

Kerry was torn apart by the republican mud slinging machine. So was gore. And Obama et al will be too. It took an extremely charismatic candidate vs. an old, wimpy candidate, the worst economy in generations, terrible foreign relations, unpopular wars, runaway spending, and a loathed president to get Obama in office. Obama's charisma is proven to be an empty charade, and nothing else has changed since the election. The republicans have this on lock if they just keep doing what they're doing

and my guess is a ton of the black and student vote that went for Obama aren't going to be showing up this time around.
