I keep getting weird calls..is it just a coincidence?

Once a week, like clockwork, I will get either a call at work or my cell phone from a different person saying the same thing "Oh I'm sorry I have the wrong number" or I'll get a text message from a number I dont recognize once a week the last one I recieved was aheart and a rose with some type of love poem...an when I try to call the number back it will tell me the number is diconnected or unavailable.. and the weird thing is that now my fitthteen yer old sister gets these types of calls on her cell phone and she told me this guy I was dating kept calling her cell phone from a blocked number asking her who was she and she told him he had the wrong number but he kept calling even though she told him he had the wrong number, a few weeks ago, and ever since then she's been getting calls where the caller will say "Oops I have the wrong number"..does this sound like a prank caller, a coincidence, or a stalker?
 
It sounds like it could be a prank caller from your old boyfriend who's displaying somewhat "stalkerish" behavior. Sounds like he's using a caller id spoofing service to make these calls. My advice would be for you and your sister to change your phone numbers as soon as possible.
