I can't remember when I started doing this, but one day I realized that when just sitting around, I would make the shape of a heptagon either in the air with my foot or with a finger. Sometimes I make it on a surface, like on the couch or desk. I seem to be doing it a lot, though I don't remember ever seeing the figure, nor does it look like anything in my life. I drew it once on paper just to see it in ink.
It has three sides like a rectangle on the top, one long and two shorter ones on the side, facing downwards like a flat-roofed house with no floor. Two more sides come in from the shorter legs, and then two more sides meet each other diagonally in the form of a triangle in the middle of what would be the bottom side. Let me see if I can replicate it:

|----------------------/ \---------------------|
----------------------/ \--------------------
That's crude, but hopefully it will make what I'm explaining a little easier to visualize.
(I drew the lines inside the shape in the place of spaces because the spaces didn't keep the symbols separated. *sigh, computers*)
What is this shape? Please ask if you need more info
