i never write poems but we have science together and we've been friends a long time, so i joked about writing a poem for her...and decided to try... and this is what i got so far. (Note the idea for never actually mentioning her or me is because its not suppose to be love poem but its for her.)

The soft fabric of space,
Draped around timeless curves.
Like acid ignites a base,
Spreading within flaming nerves.
And light escapes the iris
Glints in pearls so lustrous
A most beautifully evolved flower
Opens a playful winter
In this last hour
On the visage of dreams
