I just got my 2009 Mazda 3 Brand New a few months ago. I Ran over a Speed sign and a tree and damaged the front left part of my bumper and around my front left tire. Since it is a brand new car you cant find parts for it anywhere. I had to send it to my dealers workshop to get it fixed. My dad was hoping to pay cash so that our insurance rates wouldnt go up but when he found out that there had been about $10,000 worth of damage he decided to go with insurance. Now a few days ago my dad went to the workshop to check up on the list of broken things and he noticed many parts like a door that were listed to be replaced. When he checked many of these things they were just fine and had no issues. My dad suspects this workshop to be a fraud but has no choice because its a new car and no other place has the parts. PLEASE HELP!!! thanks
Just to let you guys know..the accident wasn't my fault...i had to turn to avoid getting hit by a truck coming towards me in my lane. My dad just spoke to the insurance and they said that they are planning to replace everything required to bring the car back to like it was brand new..

Take it to another dealer, or confront the repair manager. It is possible that their is some miss communication. You will not know until you talk to them. Good Luck.

This is a bogus story

The 2009 Mazda 3 is IDENTICAL to a 2008 Mazda 3, so finding parts are not a problem at all. IN fact, that particular body style of the Mazda 3 has been around for 5 years already, there are plenty of parts on the market

Contact your insurance company if you think the repair shop is scamming you, that is why you pay insurance, so they take care of those things for you

Wow, you have a nice dad. I wish my dad was that nice!!

Be more respectful to the freedom you dad is giving you, be careful next time!!

it is best to let the insurance pay, since they send out an adjuster to go over everything that needs to be done. When you do it your way you are bound to get ripped off, they are blood suckers and dishonest. If there was that much damage the insurance company might of had it totaled .It is a shame that you have to go through this and I wish you all the best.We had 2 car accidents in 1 month (not our fault) and 1 year later the insurance company can not seem to get all the bills paid. It is a real pain.Just thank God that you were not hurt. A car can be fixed or replaced but you can't..Be very careful in the future.
