I just upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium and now Microsoft word 2007 doesn't work!?

How can i get it to work with Win 7. About 5 seconds after it starts up, it says word has stopped working, looking for solution. and it never finds a solution. It seems like PowerPoint and Excel are working fine, its just Word. I'm a college student, so I really need word to work right.
