I just uninstalled Windows XP from my Mac with Boot Camp and now I can't re-install it?

It comes up with: "Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again.". I wanted to re-install it to give it more Gigabytes of memory. What should I do?
