My question is, will the areas I touch up dry evenly and blend with the base coat I applied last night? I'm using the same exact paint. It's a satin Valspar paint.
If its still fresh it will not be a problem (1 day is fine)
for spot repairs just dab a sponge into the paint and touch up the areas and dab a little around the edges if you are worried about blending - our place was painted 7 months ago and using this method you can never see where i have done the repairs (both stark white and coloured)
