I have a slow transmission fluid leak and went to apply some fluid and noticed the transmission fluid dipstick is completely identical to the oil dipstick! So for all I know the transmission is ridiculously over/under filled. Sounds ridiculous but did jeep intentionally do it that way somehow and just figured out how to adjust the transmission fluid pan so that works or did the previous owner get all ghetto, somehoe lose the transmission fluid stick and find an extra oil stick to replace it with? Both scenarios sound ridiculous.
I just noticed both dipsticks in my 97 cherokee sport are labelled "engine oil".?
