I just need to rant. But advice is welcome...?

I'm trying to forgive my friend right now. We're best friends. It was her birthday on wednesday, so tuesday night I went to the grocery store and got a little cake for her, then I got a present and wrapped it, signed a card and decorated it with stickers, and put up a happy birthday banner in my room. I was going to surprise her when she came over after school wednesday evening. But she texted me after school and said she wasn't feeling good so she was just going to go home and have dinner and she would come over tomorrow (today). So I went to eat with my mom after school today and told her I would be ready for her to come over at about 6:30. She said ok and that she was going to eat with her other friend before she came over. 6:30 came and went, and I had been texting her, telling her I was ready. Finally she answers at 7:30 and says "Omg! I'm sorry! My phone was on silent and I just got home to babysit" Great. So that upset me a lot, because I've put in a lot of effort to surprise her and it's not happening. I asked if she could come over tomorrow morning after class but she said she has to "help clean the house" Oh, real cool. That upset me even more because that's not an excuse. But the WORST part? I saw pictures of her and her other friend on facebook, that were just uploaded from her house. So much for "cleaning and babysitting". Some friend she is.
