I JUST NEED HELP- I HAVE NO ONE TO TALK WITH>?

I like this man at church BUT I don't know what to do! Me & this guy have been friends for a while & he is my aunties husbands nephew but were NOT blood related. We never really talked until now & we have become more familiar with each other since we have been hangout more & seeing each other more. But I have noticed that he has been acting a bit different towards me lately. Like he went & told my cousin that I make him feel "sinful" & he giggled & whenever Im around him I found him looking at me but than he makes it like he wasn’t looking. And whenever we see each other at church it takes us so long to say hello to each other so I usually go to him because when I ignore him it just makes him loss confidants & it makes things more awkward. that never happened before. He even tried to give me & my sister a lift home & he even paid for our dinner. But the thing is whenever my family or family is around he doesn’t know how to interact with me. I don’t know why? Because we have known each other since we where kids & it was never like that. his 21 & Im 22 , And where both virgins and we don’t date anyone unless its going to lead to a serious relationship & when we do talk he gets happy & looks right into my eyes & I told him that I was going to hospital soon just to do a little surgery & he asked me all these questions like when it was going to be & how long & if I was going to be ok. He even said that he would keep me in his prayers. What is up with him? It's getting hard to be around each other , its like his hiding the feelings And looks the other way & I told him that he looked good but he said you’re just saying that to be nice. You’re nice to everyone? and I asked if he wanted to hangout soon and he said Yes and Got all happy? Why does he act like this
