I just my Motorola Photon with the Alien ROM. Now it force closes many applications and won't load mms. HELP?

I just rooted and unlocked my Photon over the weekend. I also flashed the Alien ROM and Alien Theme, but now my phone keeps force closing the phone application, won't load MMS and force closes Settings. I did some research on this ROM before flashing it and no one seems/ed to have the issues I am having. Can someone help resolve this problem? I am kinda new to this stuff...

I am also open to suggestions for other ROMs... I am familiar with Laser (but don't like that it is largley 'stock'), Home Base (not a fan of the looks/styling), and I have read that CM7 on the Photon is unstable. If anyone has any others that are stable and won't force close everything that I access, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
Before giving up, wipe all (including Dalvik cache) and try to put the rom on again. If it doesn't work, one option is to wipe and return (rooted) stock, and then wipe again and put on Alien.

If none of this helps (or you don't want to swap roms so many times), ask the same question on the Alien XDA thread. That's the place where you are most likely to get the answer.
