I just joined the gym and am wondering what types of workouts will get results?

I'm 18, female and have been yoyo dieting for most of my life. Finally decided to turn things around and after losing 10 kilos only to put it all back on again and then some... I weigh 89 kilos now and want to be 62 by November.... Do you think this is a realistic goal and how many days a week for one hour should I put in at the gym and what should I do there?
