entire computer freezes...? Hi, yesterday I installed the latest version of Yahoo Messenger and a new Logitech webcam for the first time. Before ever using YM after installing it, I played around with the webcam for at least an hour with no problems. The purpose of me doing this was so that I could video chat with my husband who has been deployed since March. Every single time we start video chatting, my entire computer will freeze up. CTRL+ALT+DEL doesn't work, I end up having to hold down my computer's start button to shut the computer off and reboot. It will freeze my computer every single time, it is extremely frustrating!!!!! All I want to do is chat with my husband. The computer will freeze anywhere from a few minutes to 30 minutes after video chat has begun. Is this a known problem with YM? What can I do to fix the problem?
P.S. This morning I had to restore my entire computer back to factory setting because I was getting an error message which was preventing me from reaching windows. The only 2 programs I have installed currently is YM and the software for the webcam. I've been having the computer freezing problem both before AND after restoring the computer. Also, because my husband has is using a Satellite provider, he cannot use skype, which is why we chose YM. Thanks so much for your help!!!
