i just got a 2008 ninja ZX6r shipped to my house, and i was wondering if bikes usually come with everything good to go. i noticed the gas tank is empty and assuming there's no oil in it. is there certain oil i get to put in it, i would take it to the dealership but i cant drive it there. if anyone could fill me in with any info , dat would be great.
At the company where I work we receive new engines. Many times we receive them and they do not have oil or gas. Usually if they lack these two things there will be a warning tag on them. If the motor is brand new I would check the oil and the gas. You should also check in the owners manual or online to find out about break-in periods and methods for your motorcycle.
