I just got a job at Mcdonald's and I need advice from a former/past employee?

I just got hired at the interview and I have to go to orientation on Thursday (today is tuesday) and I was wondering how long it would take to get my first paycheck. Is there a training period where I don't get paid?

Any other advice would be greatly appriciated, thx
