So we just took it out of a 2 year storage period. It was my dads when he was a kid and he gave it to his buddy and now he gave it back. It starts up (with a little trouble) and it cannot hold an idle. I took apart and cleaned out the carb, replaced all of the fuel lines, and cleaned the points and checked the gap (which was perfect). the bike cannot hold an idle and I have to open the choke as I open up the throttle. What the heck is wrong with the thing!?!? I just want to ride it. The only thing I have not checked is the spark plug, cause I have the wrong sized sockets for it so I can't take it out. Thanks for the input.
