I just can't watch that film any more.

To start with I love Laurel and Hardy films but since I read that during the filming of Way Out West there was a death (by accident) of one the cast. I wont say any more but I just can't watch this film anymore and I wondered are there any others who have a film they just can't watch. I don't mean if the film is not to your liking.

I can still watch it, but can't help thinking about the circumstances of his death and the effect it must have had on the rest of the cast, especially the person who shot the gun.

I didn't think anyone ever knew who pulled the trigger. Too many people were firing at him in the scene and there was no way of telling which gun carried the live round.

Was sure it occured in the big shoot-out scene, where they blast him off the table. I remember reading that years ago when it happened.

Wrong scene, Brandon was killed in the hotel room scene where Funboy and Darla saw the crow at the end of the bed and Funboy was teasing it. Michael Masse who played Funboy seriously considered giving up acting at the time because he felt he was responsible for killing Brandon, but he was talked out of it.

Quite a few stunt men died in the early years of Hollywood but I don't remember hearing or reading that anyone died in Way Out West.

i believe a stunt man died during the making of The Poseidon Adventure - the actual scene he was filming, and then died doing, was kept in the film!! its the man falling through the glass ceilling.

i also know a stunt man got seriously hurt during the filming of the new Harry Potter - i havent heard how he is, but do hope he is okay now!

A little off topic, but I can't watch a porn film if one of the girls in it, has subsequently died. I won't go near it.

I had a fav' porn film (soft core) I liked once but when one of the girls in it died after falling from the tenth floor of a building, I ceased watching it.

Seemed rather perverse to keep watching a sexy film when she was dead.
