I just bought a used 2008 Dodge Avenger. How do you get the UConnect to work?

For those of you that own this car or know a lot of about them can you give me any tips and feedback?

when you press the button and nothing happens then you dont have it. every radio has that button but you need the module installed at the dealer. if you press it and it says "u-connect ready" then you just have to pare your phone to it. make sure your phone has blue tooth
