I just bought a goldfish, but previously had a tropical fish. I still have the tropical fish's food, but don't know if it will be okay to feed it.
So first of all, I'm wondering if fish food has an expiration date? Lol.
Second of all, I'm wondering if tropical fish food will be alright to feed my goldfish. I have a container of "Nutrafin Max Complete Tropical Flakes", and compared the nutrition facts to "Nutrafin Coldwater Flakes".
The only real difference I could see was in the "Crude Protein". The minimum % of crude protein in the tropical flakes was 44%, and the coldwater flakes contained a minimum of 33%. Will this harm my goldfish or make it unhealthy?
What kinds of fruits and veggies would you suggest? ^_^
Haha.
Thanks for all the responses you guys! I'm heading out soon anyway so I'll probably just head back to the pet store to get some.
