I bought a car from a private seller, and it had license plates already on it. I went to get the title transfer and asked the lady if I should keep the same license plates. She told me yes.
Why is it that I don't have to get new license plates? Will the license plate number get updated with my info? Do I need to do that myself? Sorry for all the questions, it's my first car (so happy!) :]
