I just bought a 2005 honda accord.?

I just bought a 2005 Honda Accord. It needed a new fuel pump. I paid $600 for one. I do not think the mechanic done it right. Can you tell me if I got ripped? I then had to take it to the Honda Dealer because it caused my computer to get fried. I had to pay $1,500 for a new computer... Help!
