Yesterday, before purchasing the, vehicle i took it to my family's mechanic, who drove it and looked it all over, and he said it was in good condition, couldn't find anything wrong. it drove well for me too. today, after purchasing it, while driving it home, it started vibrating, shaking, sounding like it wants to stall, especially when idling. the noise varies but is present in all modes, including park and neutral. my husband thinks it is a transmission problem, i think it sounds like it is misfiring, but neither of us have any real knowledge of cars. obviously i will be taking it back to the dealer, but i don't have a confidence they will want to fix a major problem. personally i feel like i was rushed into signing the papers and they didn't want to answer my questions. is there any way to void the sale?
the problem showed up before i added any gas to it; i since filled the tank from a station i use regularly, but it is running so rough i don't want to drive it more than absolutely necessary until i know what's wrong so i don't make something worse
