Something like this can be better handled by your phone's provider, than anyone on Yahoo. There could be a number of reasons, anything from your Calling Plan, to the phone itself.

Call your provider immediately, It may be the difference between getting your phone replaced (if something is wrong) and getting stuck with it if you wait too long!
 
go to the messege box,click on setting then text messege,go to the option of messege centre,and make it number of vodafone,if its not working then call to custumer care they will help u out.

...messages.can any one advise? i cud send the texts on the day i purchased the cell. but today thts like only a day after my purchase,i tried sending numerous texts but the all failed..i need some1 to trouble shoot the problem.thanx.
