Okay I thought that when I got both my 02 sensors replaced, this would stop: When I hit the gas to accelerate, the truck kinda hesitates at first. But after it is in gear, it is fine. Like when I come to a red light or stop sign, it takes a second to go after hitting the gas. On the highway its fine, just when I first pull off it always hesitates.
I have a 1996 gmc suburban.

What could it be?

Oh yeah I already had it diagnosed and said it was the 02 sensor but I got both changed.

I dont know ow the throttle works on a 96 suburban but it is likely to be electronic. if that is the case there is something wrong with the car's computer that is causing it to lag and give you slow throttle response.

p.s. im not a mechanic

did they clear the codes when they changed the sensors? it could be that the transmission fluid and filter needs changed or the gas filter.

Check your spark plugs and wires maybe there not gapped properly or you have damaged spark plug wire good luck.
