I hit my head on a sharp corner and have extreme headaches and nausea. What should I do?

So about 4 days ago I was running and experienced a sharp pain in my head, it was so bad that I actually had to stop exercising. The headache lasted for about 2 days and finally started going away. The night my head felt fine I was sitting down and stood up real quick to smash my head on a low hanging ceiling (at the corner too). I got pretty dizzy and ever since then have been experiencing extreme pains in my head and nausea at different points in the day. I will feel fine one second then like my head my explode at the next, then feel like I'm going to throw up. I don't want to go to the hospital and have it be for nothing, but at the same time I know this could be serious.

Should I treat it with Ibuprofen or tylenol (I'm taking Excederin Migraine right now).

What could it possibly be and are there any "self tests" I should try?
