At first, I thought I was becoming pee shy when I was younger. (This whole thing started years ago.) After a while I noticed myself taking much longer than usual to finish up, and not because I had a full bladder either. It just started taking longer. It's a very rare day that I can get a straight stream going for more than a couple seconds because it's just so hard. I feel like I have to push really hard to get it all out.
Sometimes I stand in front of the toilet for up to five or ten minutes before I finally start to "go" as they say. I'll be alone when this happens too, so it's not like I'm waiting for anything. Often times, I'll wake up late at night and have to go, only to stand there in the dark half asleep trying to relax enough so I can pee.
I get very uncomfortable when I have to go, and it causes headaches if I don't go right away. I have to go a lot too which doesn't help. Multiple times in a day, and usually once or twice in the middle of the night.
Am I alone, or is this common? Can anyone offer any advice?
