I have Verizon, and i need a new phone..?

I really want a new phone, preferably touch screen. I know i can just look at the website, but its hard to tell the pros and cons of each one that way. Can anyone help?

Also, is it true there is like a $20 flat fee for internet, etc required to be purchased with all new phones?
 
The best way is to go to the store and compare them. All of the 3G Multimedia Phones require the $10 data plan, and all smartphones require the $30 data plan. Simple feature phones do not require any data.
