I have to write an Astronomy paper concerning things beyond our solar system...?

I have to write an Astronomy paper for my class and it has to do with either the Universe, stars or galaxies (beyond our solar system). I have been searching the web and thinking for a couple hours about what to write, but I can't find any topic with enough concrete information. I was looking into anti-matter and black holes, but there doesn't seem to be enough information to write about.

I'll have no problem writing it once I find a topic I am interested in. Could anyone point me in the right direction and give me a few topics or resources dealing specifically with stuff beyond our solar system? Thanks.
