I have to go to a party and I'm terrified of clowns.?

My mom is forcing me to go to some 6 year old birthday party with my little sister. This may seem stupid but I'm 15 and I am terrified of clowns. The theme is carnival and they hired a clown. What should I do my mom is making me go I have no choice. When I see clowns I start to panic I run, hide, throw things, run, and cry.
